Criminal Law and Defense

Criminal law can touch your life or business unexpectedly. I provide advice on criminal liability risks, for example in connection with the duty of due care in managing another’s property by company directors and managers. Where necessary, I act as defense counsel. I also help set internal processes to prevent criminal conduct and reduce the risk of corporate criminal liability.

If you are summoned for an interview or to provide an explanation, I will prepare you and represent you. If someone has filed a criminal complaint against you, we will build your defence. If you suspect a crime or need to assess the boundaries of lawful conduct in your business, I can advise clearly and promptly.
